Subject: Re: 45th BCHS Reunion
Dear Maxine,
I am sorry, but I will not be able to attend the reunion. It is not easy to come from
Jerusalem.
I am interested in what is going on with the people I knew.
I corresponded with Joan Alexander Fordham for awhile several
years ago when David was so ill, and then, unfortunately, passed away.
Kathy Olsen also sent me a letter and I responded but she never
got back to me.
I am also far from being a good correspondent. There is a slight chance via
e-mail. Snail mail---forget it!
I have lived in Israel for 30 years.
I am a medical social worker in a local hospital and enjoy my
work.
My late first husband Zvi Abbo was killed in an automobile
accident in 1976.
I remarried in 1987 to an Israeli with 3 sons.
I have 2 daughters and 1 son from my first husband.
I have 10 grandchildren!!!!
My 2 younger children, son and daughter are temporarily in the
States.
My daughter is in Chicago teaching at a Jewish day school and my
son and his wife
went for 3 years to a Jewish day school in University Heights
(Cleveland) Ohio.
Inspite of all that goes on here there is NEVER a dull moment and
plenty of tension, I am happy.
My happiness quotient is 8+.
How are You? What do
you do?
Will be most happy to hear from you and you deserve A LOT of
credit for taking on this project.
All my best,
Sheila Abbo
