ItÕs Our 50th!

Dear Classmates,

Although it seems as if spring is slow to come to the northeast, before we know it October will be here, & our 50th Reunion will be upon us. Whether or not youÕre a regular reunion attendee, we hope youÕll come & celebrate with us this year. Your reunion committee has been working hard to plan festivities with the broadest appeal. WeÕve tried to build a maximum amount of flexibility into our activities in order to accommodate your varied circumstances & travel arrangements. We have events in Delmar for those of you who cannot travel to Lake George & many activities based at the Fort William Henry Resort to tempt those who would like to spend 1, 2, 3, or more days enjoying all the Lake George region has to offer.

The weekend of October 14th should be beautiful in upstate New York. However, even if stormy weather prevails, weÕll have a great time reminiscing, renewing friendships, & discovering new friends. The majority of activities weÕve planned are not weather dependent, & our resort has a fitness center, indoor pool and large & small common areas where we can gather. Even if youÕve never attended a reunion before, do come to our 50th. WeÕre sure youÕll be glad you came!

Enclosed with this letter is a Schedule of Events & a Registration Form. Please note that you must register by Friday, September 23rd. If you havenÕt already made your reservations at the Fort Wm. Henry Resort, we strongly suggest you do so as soon as possible. Rooms are available in 3 price categories; if you delay making your reservation, your options may be limited. All rooms at the Resort include a breakfast buffet & complimentary tickets to tour the adjacent historic fort. Make sure you request the special rates for BCHS 50th Reunion attendees; they are good until September 14th.  These rates are also good for up to 3 days prior & 3 days after our reunion weekend. Contact information for the Resort, The Best Western of Lake George, which offers the same room rates as the Resort, & several other options are listed on the flip side of this letter for your convenience.

You can find additional information on our website at www.bchs1961.org. Do check it for up-to-the-minute reunion news. If you have additional questions about the reunion, contact any committee member listed below.

We look forward to seeing you in October!

Sincerely,

Your Reunion Committee,
